You can use Microsoft Richcopy. This tool can also be used to copy multiple files.

For robocopy you need version XP026 or later.  If you run robocopy from the command line it will show the version.

you need /sec /dcopy:T  and maybe /e  switches.  /sec = security, /dcopy:T copies the folder timestamp,  /e = subfolders included

robocopy D:\Source E:\Dest  *.* /e /sec /dcopy:T

Richcopy is much faster than robocopy (both are microsoft tools) in case of multiple files and folders
