Content Query Web Part: How to filter information by date?

Hello. I have a Content Query Web Part on my page fetch news from subsite (pages). Every page includes publishing startdate and enddate columns. Is it possible to use Content Query Web Part to only show the pages where the current day is beetween end and start dates?

    I made the following, and am querying against the site collection:

    - /publishing (site collection root)
    - /publishing/site1 (sub-web)
    - /publishing/site2 (sub-web)
