WCF service reference contents

when i look into a WCF service reference, i see a whole bunch of files, e.g. datasource, xsd, disco, etc.  i am assuming these are all generated by .NET.  does this mean i can delete them (not check them into sourcesafe)?  as long as i have the reference.cs file and the reference.svcmap files, the rest will get regenerated if i do a rebuild?  thanks.

When I see this type of question, I start thinking about testing assumptions.  My question to you is, "Did you try it to see what would happen?"

yes, it works.  i was just trying to do something so drastic in case it doesn't work.

testing shows that these files are optional.
