Best OS to run .Net 4.0, VS 2010?

Hello - I'm gearing up for a ASP.NET 4.0 project, and wondering if it's worth re-loading my laptop

I've already pretty much decided I'm going to upgrade from WXP to W7, but a recent post with the spec requirements for VS 2010 got me thinking - is there a clear advantage for running VS 2010 (or just doing ASP.NET development, in general) between W7, Windows Server 2008, or even just sticking with WXP?

Thanks

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I don't think you'll notice a difference.  Server 2008 would certainly have a more robust web server than the two desktop OSes, but for development purposes that would be overkill.

I've worked with VS2010 on both XP and Win7.  While I personally prefer Win7 as an OS, the development experience is essentially identical.
