Isolated storage question

Is it possible to download a file using silverlight into an isolated stoarage location, open the file up, and then watch the file until it is modified, and then upload it again?

What Im looking to do is download a Word or Excel file into the isolated storage location, open it up, allow the user to modify it and then save it, and once word is closed down re-upload the file.

Does anyone have any example, or before I start working on it any advice, or if its even possible?

Thank you

The question straight away is, how would Word open a file from Isolated storage?

I was hoping to use something similar to IsolatedStorageFile.OpenFile Method

    Accepted Solution

That function returns you a filestream to that file for you to use in your program. Word wont be able to use that.
