Bonded T1 dedicated circuit
Looking for some config examples or tips on how to configure a dedicated circuit connection. On one end I have a cisco 2811 with a 2 port wic card and on the other end I have a cisco 2851 with a 2 port vwic. I want to use both ports on each router to create a bonded T1 connection. Would this be the same as configuring a bonded T1 with the ISP? Which end would do the clocking?
Any help is appreciated.

or would I have to configure the clock rate on each serial interface in the multilink group?
Hi,
Clock would need to be on each of the serial interfaces ("clock source internal" parameter).
Same with framing and linecode values... This mostly depends on what your provider recommends for support on your smartjacks.
-Cheers, Peter.

the clock source internal parameter should only go on the router providing the clocking correct? or does it need to be on both routers?
Hi. Only on one router should be providing the source. It sounded like your doing your own point - to - point, so choose whatever end you want.

I would set the clock rate on the multilink interface correct?
Also would it be smart to configure the controllers to clock source line independent?
