Crystal Reports - Hide section if Subreport has no records

I have a Crystal report in VS2008 which has a sub-report. If the sub-report has no records I want to suppress the section that it is in.

Who is Participating?
I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I don't use VS 2008 but here is the method I would use in CR XI

In the subreport  -

conditionally suppress all sections if no records are returned

In main report -
format subreport -> subreport tab -> suppress blank subreport
go to selection expert -> check 'suppress blank section' for section containing the subreport
