Check Applications log and the System Log and tell us if something shows up according to Word crashing...

I have a really strange issue with Microsoft Word. I can open Excel Spread sheets, power point, outlook ect..., but when I try to open up Word it just sits there and never oepn and then freezes up. I have tried to run a repair on the installation that didn't work. Uninstalled and reinstalled Office 2007 this still didn't help. I also tried to run it on a different user profile and still no results. This machine is running Windows 7 64-bit on a W520 Lenovo Thinkpad and is part of a domain. The laptop is only about a month old also. If anyone has any advice I would love to hear. Thanks.
