Trouble Mail Enabling a Disabled Distribution Group - Exchange 2010

I was unable to edit recipients of a distribution group, so I disabled it.  Now it no longer appears under Recipient Configuration/Distribution Group.  I can find it under Active Directory and make changes, however, I am unable to see how to mail enable it, other than deleting and re-creating.

Please help!

I was on that link.  I see only six groups, but none are the distribution group I have disabled.  I see only Enterprise Admins, Exchange Servers, Exchange Trusted Subsystem, Exchange Windows Permissions, ExchangeLegacyInterop, and Schema Admins.

It says "The following Active Directory Domain Services error occurred: A global group cannot have a universal group as a member."
I think I got it under control.  I deleted the small number of members, converted to Universal, then re-added them.
THANK YOU
