I am using IIS Media Services 4.0 to do video Streaming in SharePoint 2010. Having done some research I have found that SharePoint 2010 together with IIS Media Services supports video streaming. I have installed IIS Media Services on my machine and this is running fine when I stream a video from any of my ASP.Net applications. However, my requirement is to do video streaming through SharePoint 2010. Can anyone please tell me how this can be achieved.

Once the infrastructre is in place, you need a web part to stream the video.

I have gone through with this link but this is only talking about Windows Media web part and this only does video buffering and not streaming. Using WM Webpart the file is downloaded on the client's machine.

Am I right?

THat's not how I understand it.  Everything is server side.

I am afraid it's not. It does download the video in the browser cache.
