what is the best copy paste software

I have 1TB harddisk and I want to copy all data from it to another 1TB harddisk for personal purpose.
After windows XP copied only 20GB, it came with error which interrupt the copying process :-(

I have to restart all over again because i don't know if every folder has been all copied from first to second HDD, So i ask for your help and advice for a tool that make copy easy for me.

You can use some disk partition cloning tool like EaseUS, it works fantastic .

You can use a tool called robocopy.

You can download this tool with GUI interface from http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/2009.04.utilityspotlight.aspx

This is an excellent tool to copy massive amount of data. The best feature of this tool is that it allows parallel copying.

If you want to copy only files I use beyondcompare.

This software uses a window where one 1 site the destination folder or drive is displayed and on the other site the source folder or drive.

I would recommend teracopy..you can even pause and resume the copy process
