IMAC

IMAC is stucked in display all i can see is the apple . any help on how i start it up again .

I have 10.4 .x OS

IMAC 21"

Try restarting while holding down the shift key.

Try typing ctrl-eject. then wait a second and hit enter.

Your mac will shutdown.

If that doesn't work, hold down the power button for 5 seconds to force a shut down.

In either case, restart while holding down the shift key as that will perform a disk directory repair.

If the computer reboots while holding down the shift key, try rebooting normally.

i tried rebooting it by holding the shift key ..it is back to the same problem . Display is grey .Nothing at all
