Just wondering if its possible to change the default hyperlink location -> 'My document' to a desired folder?
Such that every time I insert a hyperlink -> by default it would open up that folder?
And i can quickly pick up the desired file rather than having to navigate

Many thanks

    Hello Sameer,

I regret to inform you that what you want to do is not something that can be easily done. MS did not provide a way to set an specific location for the Hyperlink applet. If you notice, not even the right click has code associated to it, on that tool. I search the Windows registry and there is nothing about that. There are a few suggestions on the web about Macros, but none of them will do what you want to do.
Suggestion: If you have all the files that you link to on a specific location, you could create a shortcut to that folder on your documents folder, so when you go insert a hyperlink, all you have to do is double click your existing shortcut and voila, you're where you want to be.

    Hope this helps!!

I will keep the question open to see there are suggestions - Perhaps for the future but for now quiet useful.
