I have a Windows 7 desktop and there is a charging icon on the bottom right of my screen like my desktop is charging a battery that it doesn't have. How do I remove this or make the computer think it runs off a regular power supply not a battery?

Right click on the icon on the system tray then click on "turn system icons on or off."  For the drop down corresponding to power select off then click on ok.
