SAP 7.2

The SAPWorkDir on Windows XP used to be located on c:\document and setting\(username)\

But now in Windows 7 I have no idea what it is located or where I should be putting the diretory.

Can someone provide me with the location where the SAPWorkDir in Windows 7 should be located!

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

under windows 7 the 'documents and settings' is replaced by 'users' so I would expect it to be in
c:\users\(username)\ and otherwise work the same
But this is just observation of W7 not direct Sap experience!

No, I don't think it is going to be in the c:\users\(username)\

the  saplogon.ini is not in the roaming profile instead, they've changed everything for Win 7.

It isn't under %userprofile%\appdata\roaming?

No SAP experience, but I would expect an app to be store it's config there.....

Or if UAC Virtualization is in effect....

%userprofile%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Windows

C:\Users\(user name)\AppData\Roaming\SAP\Common is for the saplogon.ini

but for the SAPWordDir it is more tricky, and I tried everywhere to find out where it goes now.

I don't think we have SAP Account for support; I tried contacting head office to get the login, but nothing.

I also tried to search the internet to see if I can find anything, I couldn't get anything.

Sorry, I found the most I could in http:#36953345

Without a support contract you cant get it... How much is thier "Per Incident" support? maybe not too unreasonable?
