Managed Engine event log analyzer Versus Q1 labs

Hi, I have narrowed down 2 different event log analyzer products. The 2 seem very similar but one is priced much higher. Managed Engines Event log analyzer is much cheaper than the Q1 labs solution. Managed Engine is only software whereas Q1 is a device on my network. Does anyone have some feedback on either? I am not a security guru or a Linux guys so I rely heavy on GUI based products to make it easy for me.
