In InfoPath 2007, can a form be set up so that after initial submit, the "submit" button goes away and only the "save" button appear?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The best practice is to disable the tool bar buttons, since as you see there is not a lot of control to them.

Then put buttons in your form and label them whatever you want, submit, save, update whatever.  Then you can use rules to do the submit functions you need. And also use conditional formatting based on the state of the form to hide buttons or show buttons that you want the user to see or have access to.
