We are inheriting an ERP systems that apparently requires several of the following:

"Oracle Database Enterprise Edition, Full Use, Processor License, Perpetual"

The Oracle database version is v10.

It is extraordinarily expensive and we are looking at whether or not we can just buy Standard Editions or Restricted versions. Does anyone have any advice to offer in this area.

    Accepted Solution

You need to look at the matrix of what comes with what version.

You then need to look at what your ERP system uses to see if it will continue working.
