Remote Desktop / Terminal Server Server Farm - connecting to servers

We have an load balanced RD server farm with 2 RD servers load-balanced in the farm: remote1 and remote2.  The problem we are having is that we cannot RDP to remote2 because the DNS round robin keeps passing us to remote1. We have tried both by name and IP, but in both instances we are sent to remote1. How do can we RDP to remote2, for instance, if we need to install applications?

Both servers are running Server 2008R2, btw.

Thank you.

    Accepted Solution

can you RDP from remote1 to remote2?

If not, it looks to me like you would need a LAN-KVM....

We have decided to use KVM and remote software to console to the RDS servers.
