IP6 Ping shows Destination Unreachable

For some reason I cannot ping IP6 addresses in the network. I have IP6 enabled and can ping any computer using IP4 but not IP6. When I ping specific computer, it will ping using IP6 and say "destination port unreachable". A computer beside me, which is on the same subnet and gateway can ping that machine no problem. I have disabled the windows firewall and I do not have any other firewall programs running. Any ideas?

Try to use nslookup the computer you're trying to ping. What is the DNS response? Does it show the IPV6 address as well as the IPV4 or only IPV4? That could cause the issue.

Is IPV6 enabled on both network interfaces on both machines? Can you do a
tracert -6 <machine>

on both your computer and the computer besides you?

Machine was taken away and NIC ended up being replaced. Replacement machine and old machine able to ping IPv6 addresses.
