Exchange 2007 user folder deletion
A user has deleted a folder that was in their inbox. Is there a way i can restore it from the exchange management console for Exchange 2007? It is not found in their outlook in deleted items or anywhere in their outlook.
Thank you.
Thank you.
if you are restoring from the dumpster from within outlook and its not there, check the dumpster in owa by right clicking on the trash and selecting recover deleted items. the dumpster in owa usually retains items longer than from within outlook.

All i get when right clicking on the "Deleted Items" in OWA is to open in another window or tab, i don't receive any additional OWA options just windows options like that. Any other way i can access the "recover deleted items"?
Thank you.
Thank you.
are you using IE? if not, use IE. It brings up a windows-type menu where you can select recover deleted items
http://<server>/exchange/<user>/< folder>/?c md=ShowDel eted
Where:
<server> : Server name
<user> : user who has deleted some important messages
<folder> : Folder that the important messages were deleted

Thanks now i'm using IE and when right clicking "deleted items" i get the options: open, open in new window, move folder (grayed out), copy folder, delete (grayed out), rename (grayed out), create new folder, mark all as read, empty deleted items. I don't see any options to recover.
