SAP Bi-Writing Queries

Hey Everyone,

Just wondering if there was a way in SAP to write SQL statements to query out data? Right now all I am able to do in the front end (Netweaver) is view/click on  various reports or store systems but these all have limitations. Also, through the back end (BEX Analyzer) I was also unable to find a way to write queries to obtain the data.

Is this possible at all? It would make my life a whole lot easier than simply cliking on fields or the  critieria I wanted and not having it come back in the format I wanted.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
