Exchange 2010 Randomly Disconnects Clients
Exchange 2010 Standard running on Server 2008 Standard x64 is randomly disconnecting all clients for short periods of time (10 maybe 20 sec). A continuous ping shows no network packet drops, but the drop with Exchange to kick the client (Apple Mail, MS Outlook 03, 07, 10), etc.. offline.
Could it be that your server temporarily overloads and just loses all network traffic?

I've read the kb article and I am able to successfully join, connect, send and receive emails. It just randomly disconnects and reconnects and sometimes crashes Outlook because of this. I have also noticed that I will get drops in my RDP session but it will come right back after auto reattempts. This is installed in vSphere 4.1.

the security logs show constant 4634 and 4624 event ids.

Still don't know the issue. I opened a case with Microsoft and they are currently working on it. I'll post the findings here. Thanks everyone.

It just happened again. Email stalls and RDP sessions disconnect. I reviewed the event logs (both system and application) and here are the only things happening at that exact moment:
Terminal Service Printer - Event ID 1111
Service Control Manager - Event ID 7036
Security-SPP - Event ID 902
Any ideas?

Could you please post the entire log message for the event 7036?
and the 902
