SQL SERVER 2008 - GDR 1617 - KB2494088 - Uninstall update

Can  GDR 1617  be uninstalled from SQL Server 2008?
Can   KB2494088 be uninstalled from SQL Server 2008?
If so could you describe the procedure?
I have been told yes and no, and "i dont know". :)
This is a production machine that cannot be down for long, of course.
This needs to be done to eliminate a small "Report Services" problem that appeared  with these updates, which may or may not have been caused by the update.
