Is it possible to have navigation based inside Root view controller ?

Hello EE,

Is it possible to have a Navigation inside a split View controller ?
Rather than have only a table view on Left pane, lets say I have a multi level menu rows (Hierarchical menu) how could I do that?  Would it be a Xib with Navigation then I link my left pane with that class ?  thats it ?

Can you provide example ?

A splitview controller is just a master or precedent suggestion/container from apple.  My statement here at the beginning of the iPad development was probably incorrect or a little bit too much (people thought you had to stick to it to get your app approved), but if you look for example at the new Facebook iPad app you will see that you do not have to follow apples split view controller fully.

Thuss the left hand view can be anything you like. So too the right hand side.

Now customizing it is the difficult thing.  For example the Facebook app on is pretty slick, but so it should be with all those developers working on it.

Here are some starting points for you on customization, not on what you wanted, but I do not think you are going to find something like you want just yet.

By the way, did you have the chance to get to my other question ?  Very important for me   =)
