    Accepted Solution

Just configure completely your USB, then once configured, make a copy using the URL posted. No need to backup the configs since you have a complete copy of the USB

To backup and restore configuration to ESXi 5.0 host, which may change, you can script this to run weekly or daily. You can use the vCLI or vMA.

To backup the host you would run the command. --server <server_name> -s <backup_file_name>

To restore your backup configuration to your host you would run. This will cause the host to reboot once the process is complete. --server <server_name> -l <backup_file_name>
