I have just finished an install of BES 5.03 and everything seemed to go great no errors I can see. All the services for BlackBerry have started but I am having one problem. When I try to go to the Web admin or web desktop sites to make changes. It just come up page can not be displayed. Any ideas on this one?

Hi,

Can you provide some more information:

1. Is the server multi-homed? If so, make sure that the interface using the IP address that's used by the BAS FQDN is highest in the binding order
2. Are you using load-balancing or DNS round robin - i.e. do you have more than one server running Administration Service
3. How much memory is being used by the BAS-AS service (check task manager)
4. Do you have a BAS-AS log file created in your log files directory for BlackBerry?
5. Are there any obvious errors in it?
6. Is IIS also installed on the server and listening on 443?
7. Can you get to it using HTTP - Check the port in use using BlackBerry Configuration Manager

Regards,

RobMobility.
Firstly, restart the Blackberry administration services and wait for about 5 minutes then try again.  If this doesn't work take a look in services and make sure that the Blackberry administration services are running as the besadmin account.

Have you had a look in the BBAS-AS log file, is it listing any errors in there, also take a look in event viewer, anything in there as well?
