Issue with joining a domain

I'm having an issue connecting a user to our domain.  When I attempt to go into CHANGE on the Computer Name tab of Windows 7 home, it's greyed out.

How can I make sure the user connects to our domain?

You cannot add a Windows 7 Home to a DOMAIN.
Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate support join domain only

You cannot connect Windows Home products to a domain.
Those services are disabled because they are not designed for business use.
You will need to upgrade the Home version to at least Professional before joining a domain.

You can add Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise and Ultimate
As the others above have mentioned, you can't add Windows 7 home to a domain, you  will need professional, Enterprise or Ultimate.

You won't have to einstall though, just run the windows anytime upgrade (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/windows7/products/windows-anytime-upgrade) and you will be able to upgrade your version instantly without losing any data.
