Configuring RPC over HTTP

Dear Sir,
               is it necessary to have SAN Certificate for configuring RPC over Http ?as i have windiws server 2011 sbs , i want to configure RPC over HTTP in my exchange 2010.
is there any other way through which i can configure it without san certificate ?

    - Yes, You can do it with single name certificate. However your DNS provides has to create a SRV record.
