am attaching sample db.
when it opens- a form displays-
if you select 8/29/2011 in Text1
and select 9/2/2011 in Text3
Then click preview report button - a report displays 2 people jones and jackson.
Is there a way in this sample- to create another query to display only jones?
and second form?
thank you,
( for some reason maybe the way I have form- i have been unable to create a second form and query that will work).

    Accepted Solution

Use the same form and query.

    - Add a combo for Last Name on your form
    - Modify your query, by setting the criteria for fName to:

    Like Nz([Forms]![frmReportGenerator]![YourNewLastNameCombo],"*")
