    - Just Boot from the CD.
    - When you get the boot: prompt type:

    linux rescue

    and hit Enter.

    This is it.

Are you referring to press any button before it boots to get to the boot prompt?

The live cd goes right into the windows like gui.

I tried booting to single user mode but fails from disc.

The problem is that i put a ; in selinux/config intead of # on a line to comment out. Trying to get to file to fix. It says incorrect syntax selinux/config boot fails.

When i boot from cd i cant get to file i can open in read only says i dont have permissions.
I am trying to get into rescue mode from cd but it goes to gui.

    Ok I got it, simple.

I loaded the Live CD and when it was doing the auto login after boot and I hit escape and clicked login as other user: root no password was neccessarry, and I could access the drive from gui pull up file and edit and save.

    Thanks all.
