are there any articles describing the effect of extreme heat on the life of computers

The heater at my business was left on at 120 degrees for 2 days.  I had a Dell Power Edge Server running and a Macbook Pro notebook PC on the desk (in hibernation).  The Macbook was too hot to touch, but it did start OK.  Everything seems to be working fine now, but I am concerned about the lifespan of these computers.  Are there any publications that describe the effect on the life of computers running in a hot environment?

i would say -if the max temps of the silicon were not passed, it will run as usual if it runs now

ASKER

My concern is if the life of my computers has been shortened by the exposure to much higher temperatures for 2 days.  Are there any studies that actually compare computers running at "extreme" temps vs those running at normal temps?
i could not find anything about it; on ly this :  http://www.extremetemperatureelectronics.com/tutorial1.html

I was hoping to see charts or graphs showing the comparison of components (or PCs) running at different temps, but this is acceptable.  Thank you.
i'm sorry i could not help better, but something is better than nothing...
