can't ping ,nslookup nor telnet
We have servers in Tier1 and tier2 network.Tier2 has TMG 2010. and all the other servers are in Tier1.Their is firewall between tier1 and tier2 network. From all the Tier1 servers I can now browse internet using TMG as proxy. But can't ping ,nslookup,RDP nor Telnet to the external world. I have created the rules on the TMG box to allow the above protocols. But weird thing is I am looking at the live monitoring and can't see any traffic coming from tier1 servers to TMG.
I am not a networking guy and how to go ahead and resolve the issue.

you probably need to ask about that firewall then, my guess it (the firewall) is blocking the traffic.
on the servers in Tier1 location, what is their Default Gateway setting in TCP/IP. If you try to ping, telnet, etc to the external world then the first place to start investigating is the Default Gateway IP - that device.
