Delphi - Change physical hdd serial

hello friends, i am need chage the hdd physical serial, not volume serial, i am need the hdd physical serial change in delphi or if no solution in another language or any program make this. thanks

You can do it with a soldering gun and a replacement chip!

This info is hard coded in the device and probably not modifiable, hence it's one of the numbers Microsoft uses to connect your license key to your machine.  However, I imagine you could write a proxy device driver that could imitate a Hard Drive, similar to way they have these virtual CD roms except yours would just act as a pass through to the real driver and intercept whatever call it is to read the serial number.

So Delphi is out of the question if you need to write a driver.

hum, no not possible as CodedK said. But why would you need that, except to defeat such protection mechanism that rely on it ?

another option
> attach new harddisk named e:
> copy past all from d: to e:
> detach d:
> attach new as d:

serial num changed; voila !
