Terminal server 2003 roaming profiles not loaded becuase of IE Favorites!

Hi all!

I have a good one here, suddenly the user profiles on one of my servers (win2003, citrix ICA) aren't loading (see errors under here). Most user profiles say that one of the internet explorer favorites is unaccessable.

When i try to delete the file manualy, i can't delete it. Even as domain admin i can't even set the rights correctly because the file is not accessable.

Anyone knows an solution to this problem?

Windows cannot find the local profile and is logging you on with a temporary profile. Changes you make to this profile will be lost when you log off.

1515
Windows has backed up this user's profile. Windows will automatically try to use the backed up profile the next time this user logs on.

Windows cannot copy file (filename).url to location (server\filename).url. Possible causes of this error include network problems or insufficient security rights. If this problem persists, contact your network administrator.

 DETAIL - Access is denied.

Sometimes I will use Unlocker to delete a file that I can't delete otherwise.

Hi Footech, thanks for feedback,  i now can delete the files when rebooting in save mode, but other files will lock when starting the normal environment, i need help to pinpoint why those files lock so i can fix the problem.

Ok, i have downloaded the program and see that the file cideamon.exe is locking all those files.

So cideamon.exe is the indexing service.  If you don't need it (on almost every Win 2003 server you don't), I would stop and disable the service.
