Oh. I can use custom list if needed (=easy solution) but I would like to implement a more versatile webpart. Ideally this web part would support something like caml/linq to query the userprofile.

Perhaps I could do with this. &nbsp;Basically I need list contact information (paging would be nice if possible). &nbsp;Can you link me to guide, or tell me how to do this with SharePoint designer etc. Search based solution would be best, but easy solution will likely suffice.

I need to create list that fetch information from active directory (user, phonenumber etc). What would be the best way to solve this problem? I am not exactly sure if my account is allowed to read ad; Is it possible to ask sharepoint to get information from active directory and use that information to populate lists?
