sendmail: Remove "From: root" label

Hello experts,

whenever user receive mails log from sendmail it shows root [].
I managed to change this by editing /etc/passwd file as follow:


that solved the problem user get email username no-reply.
the question; Is changing this value affect the server in any way?

    No it shouldn't affect your server.

    That is the comment field that is usually used to store the complete name of the user or maybe some other comments.
