exchange server 2007 windows server 2008 certificate

We are running exchange server 2007 on a windows server 2008 system

Whenever an outlook (2007) client is opened on our domain network from a locan networked workstation, the following message keeps popping  up:

The name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site"

I realise that this is because the security certificate has the wrong credentials. I simply need to know the EXACT steps to generate a new certificate with the correct credentials.
Our server has the name: ups-srv-01 )local site). The domain to reach it from external locations is: http://mail.upstranslations.com

Please can someone give me an exact step by step procedure to renew this certificate correctly

It doesn't have anything to do with credentials.
Just make sure the certificate is for mail.upstranslations.com
And not, for instance, upstranslations.com

If you do this, the certificate will work.

first use the below link to get the command that you will use to generate the certificate

in the common name, put"mail.upstranslations.com"
in the Subject Alternative Names: put all the names and aliases to the server and domain, you can put as you can

then use the generated file to generate certificate from the CA server, then import the certificate in the exchange server

note, when you download the certificate from the server, u have 2 options
1.download certificate: import this one to the exchange server
2.download the certificate chain (p7b file); import this certificate in the client computers, so that the client computer don't get warning that the certificate isn't trusted
