Windows 7 Repair Loop
My wife loaded a game on her laptop and now the laptop keeps booting in a circle to repair itself. I have tried multiple recovery points in System Restore which says it has completed successfully. The laptop continues to boot up in repair mode. I have run chkdsk /f and chkdsk /r which nothing was found. It is a Sony VAIO. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

No
Disconnect the power cable and then hold down the power button on the tower for 1 minute to drain flea power.
After that connect power, display, mouse and keyboard...disconnect the reset and boot the computer.
Post result.

No can do, this is a laptop. Tried it removing the battery and power cord. Same result.
Put the drive into a second PC and run a virus scan on it as a secondary drive.
Sounds like you have a virus on the drive

Make sure hard drive is set as the first boot device in bios boot priority and there is no dvd in the drive.
