Calendars on Outlook and Outlook Anywhere!

Posted on 2011-10-13

Just had a query from a user in regard to the Outlook Anywhere.  It is working fine, but seems this is the first user to try and save something in a calendar and it doesn't.  Outlook seems to get in a right pickle when it comes to working with the calendar via Anywhere.

It hangs when trying to create a calendar item, and just ignores the save button.

I have Outlook Anywhere working fine in mail.
If you need some settings please advise and I will update the question.

What device is Outlook Anywhere being used on?
Have you tried it on a different device yet?

Yes this is happening across all computers.  Windows 7 32 and 64bit, Win XP 32bit.
    All via Outlook 2010.

    > Yes this is happening across all computers.

At LAN or from remote location?

    > Please check the behaviour @ internal LAN network by *also* selecting the "On fast network connect...."

    > Do you want to try using "Outlook /safe" mode and then try the same?

    > during or after the hung state...check for the event-IDs @ the client computer
Check for the Sync-issues details @ the "Cached Exchange Mode" profile

    Accepted Solution

OK.  This is down to a certificate issue, which needed autodiscover adding and IP v6 being enabled which should be disabled as it is not used in this organisation..

    All is working now.
