Acronis equivalent of Ghost Explorer to restore selective files/folders

There's Ghost explorer to view & selectively restore files from a Ghost
image (.gho or .ghs ).

If I have Acronis image backups, is there an Acronis tool to do selective
viewing/restore of files / folders?

Let me know the exact url / link to download this tool (or any other 3rd
party tool) : preferably it doesn't need a licence & can be done online
(ie doesn't need to boot into Acronis)

acorns itself allows you to do so.  Open acorns and choose restore.  Choose restore disk image.  At this point it will allow you to open the disk image and see what files are in there.  You can choose to recover the whole image or just individual files.

There is an option of Mounting the Image in acronis.
You can right click on the image file of acronis and select the option to Mount it
There are two options in mounting
Read only = You can view and copy the files from the image to your harddisk
Read / Write = You can modify the files in the image and save it

Sorry chaps.

The licence I have is of older version (think it's about 2-3 years ago version).

Any chances of downloading the older version?  When I used the version
given by the Shahzoor above, it gave the latest version

Hi Shahzoor,

So you're referring to "Acronis True Image Server for Windows 8.0"
that I need to download if I wanted to get the version that's 3 years old?

Bear with me, I downloaded Ver 8's demo copy, & when the menu is shown,
(think there's 5 options in it), I selected the bottom-most option
(True Echo Enterprise Server) & after that it crashed out with an error

Refer to attached screen which indicate some issue with my laptop's
Windows Installer

Try the following workarounds:

- Disable Windows User Account Control (VISTA only). (Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Turn User Account On or Off -> Uncheck “Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer
- Try to disable any antivirus software and repeat installation.
- Try to install as Administrator, right click on installation file -> Run As -> Administrator
- Try to install for All users.

Do the following in order to check out the integrity of the installation package?

- Download the checksum utility from http://www.irnis.net/files/xcsci.exe
- Unpack and run the application and click on the ellipsis sign to browse and select the installation package you downloaded;
- Click "Start" button;
- The MD5 value for Acronis True Image 11 Home (build number 8053) must be 8ff9d7c4d1b5417ba170428b2d1da290
- The MD5 value for Acronis Disk Director Suite 10.0 (build 2160) must be df5062f70fdd5dcc0d136b27fa16d45c

If the MD5 value is not coinciding then you need to re-download the latest build. If the problem persists and the checksum is correct do the following:

1.Completely uninstall previous version of Acronis True Image including the trial version of the product (Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs).

2.Delete all files in \Documents and Settings\[Account Name]\Local Settings\Temp\ folder by running Disk Cleanup wizard from the system drive (e.g. C:) Properties (remember to check the Temporary Files checkbox).

3.Download the utility from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301/en-us, install and run it.

4.Select the Acronis product you are trying to install and hit Remove.

5.Try installing the product again.

The acronis V8 (demo) I downloaded has MD5 checksum of :
  B9840D877B8C4B64ECDF4D55315463EB
as shown in the attached.

Tried shahzoor's last thread's suggestions & the link below has replaced
the utility with a new troubleshooter which I run & Acronis is not one of the
listed product I tried to install & it gave the attached report that nothing's wrong:
