Hi guys,

I need to grant some privs to a role, it will be granted automatically to all users who have this role or I have to grant individually.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Yes unless stored procedures that do DDL are involved.  They might need to log off and back in before the privs are available.

Whatever you grant to the role will be granted to any user with that role on next login with the exception noted above.

each user will need to have the role granted to them,  but once that is granted,  you can update just the role
