asked on
Mod_JK Apache - site redirection
Tomcat running on 8080 -- default install
Apache using vhost mydomain.com
Mod_jk working fine
Instead of working like this: http://mydomain.com/search -->mod_jk loads tomcat default page (equiv to http://mydomain.com:8080
I'd like it to go to: http://mydomain.com --> modjk loads equiv to http://mydomain.com:8080/search
So essentially I'd like to remove the subfolder off the url and go straight to the app.
Make sense?
I'm sure I just have to add something to my server.xml file but not sure where to start as I have not done a whole lot in tomcat before.
TIA

so I'd like what we have above...
Then I'll have another app that sits in /mynewapp
And I'll want that pointed to mynewapp.mydomain.com
