Is there a way to see "how many times" and possibly even "when" a transport rule has been triggered in Exchange 2010?

Well, that looks like it would work but unfortunately, I don't have "log an event" as an action to choose on the transport rule.

On exchange 2010 SP1 is available only on edge transport server. (Look at first comment in article).

The other option is digging through message tracking and smtp log.

Hope this will be of more use.

Any other ideas on this?  Haven't really found a solution to it.

The answer provided by davorin is great, but unfortunately, I'm not seeing that option on my Exchange server.  I don't have an edge transport server so I guess digging though the smtp logs is the only way I can do this.

Thanks for all of the responses.
