ASP.net background color

Hi

I used the color #3A4F63 as the background for my ASP.net Site.Master.
I then had someone send an image with this same color, but the two don't match exactly.
Is the color coding case sensitive? If not, what might cause this?

Where did you get the original color value? What did your friend use to create the color image? Are you viewing the two side-by-side on the same monitor?

Answering these questions will help figure out where the problem is.

Hi. I am not sure where he got it. Yes the two colors are side by side.
You have answered my question by letting me know that there can be a difference
