Have an issue with a handful of users where the AutoArchive option is missing on Outlook 2007. Initially I suspected a corrupt menu or corrupt install. So I reset the menus, that didn't help, so I uninstalled and reinstalled, no luck. Logged in as a different user and AutoArchive is back. Suspected corrupt Windows profile. Rebuilt profile of affected user, still no AutoArchive.
Checked for KB2412171, not installed. Moved user account to the OU that the non affected account was in to eliminate some GPO issue, waited about 45 mins, deleted mail profile, did a gpudate /force, rebooted. Ran RSOP to make sure GPO from new OU had been applied and still no AutoArchive. Check HKCU\software\microsoft\office\12.0\Outlook\preference...no registry keys that would disable the feature. Completely at a loss at this point.
