IE 8 built in "favorites" removal using GPO or registry hack

How do I remove the built in "Favorites" in IE 8?
They are
Favorite Bar
  -Webslice Gallery
Microsoft Websites
MSN websites
Windows Live

I need to be able to do this via GPO or registry hack.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I found this link describing GOP settings and IE 8: http://bit.ly/pl6PnM

Unfortunately, it only shows an option to turnoff the Favorites Bar.

I have previously used this method for setting default user profiles, however it only works when the user is logging onto the domain for the first time: http://bit.ly/qe4PTJ

I will keep checking and post if I find something pertinent.
