I am trying to create a work flow in Sharepoint 2010 foundation.  I am following all the steps but when I go to add a workflow I get his message.

There are no workflows available on your site collection or workspace.  Please contact your administrator.

Unfortuanately, I am my administrator.  What do I need to do to create the workflow?

Can you verify that Three-State Workflow is enabled in the Site Collection Features?

I also verified that I am the primary site collection administrator.  I just need to get a simple three-state workflow going by Sunday.

I look at workflow setting and it says there are no workflows.  I thought foundation had three-state out of the box.  Also, I can't find where to activate workflows.  I am the site collection administrator and a farm administrator.

Try this:

- Click Site Actions
- Click Site Settings
- Under Site Collection Administration, click Site Collection Features
- On Three-state workflow, click Activate

Then go back to your list/library and try adding a workflow.

Thank you so much.  I resalized I had a bunch of sites and no collection.  You saved me.  I'm sure I will have more questions later.
