Is there a way to see the SCL rating of an email with Exchange 2003 and Outlook 2010?
I've tried the solution on Microsoft's website http://support.microsoft.com/kb/895091 for Outlook 2003 and 2007 but the SCL rating just shows up as 0, even on blocked emails.

Thanks for the prompt respnse SAPVYK.
I followed the instructions on the link that you posted. I'm having the same problem. The SCL column always shows a 0 as the SCL rating. I've got the threshold on the IMF set to 6 right now which means that the mail in my junk folder should have a rating of 6 or higher.

If it is showing as 0, it means the message has the rating as 0 itself. There is nothing to do with Threshold set on IMF and SCL Exposing. It is possible that this script might not be working with Outlook 2010, try the same config with Outlook 2003/2007.

I believe that the script is not working well with Outlook 2010. All of our machines here are running Outlook 2010 so it will be hard to try it out on Outlook 2003/2007. I was hoping that someone would have a solution for inspecting the SCL with Outlook 2010. Is there a way to see this on the exchange server perhaps?

I came up with a solution.
I installed IMF companion on the mailserver then

I had to add a registry key on the mail server
HKLM/software/microsoft/exchange/ContentFilter

and then add a dword called ArchiveSCL with a value of 1.

this will save the SCL rating with the archived messages. I can't see the SCL rating of emails that are send to my junk mail in Outlook but I can see the SCL of the archived messages. This will work fine for what I'm trying to do.
