Moving Exchange 2007 Mailboxes to a new Storage Group/database

Hi,
My scenario is this. For some reason after disabling the LCR on my Staff StorageGroup/database I no longer have the option to turn it back on. Hav subsequently applied SP3 and Ropllup5 SP3.
I need to get the LCR happening again for security.
I have another Storage Group that has LCR available and have created a new database in it with no problems.
Have been reading on-line and it seems that there should be no issues in moving the staff mailboxes from the existing database to the new one - other than the deleted folder being left behind (a GOOD thing) and maybe a loss of connectivity for each user as their mailbox is moved.
So just want to confirm their are no other 'gotchas'.
Always nervous around the Exchnage server, since spending a long Easter when I demoted the Exchange Server from being a DC  - found out that in MS talk 'Unsupported" = "Do Not do this"  :-(

I always found Exchange 2007 pretty hit and miss regarding it's log shipping architecture, re-seeding database copies can always be troublesome if you suspend the storage group copy process.

I am unsure if this is the fame for LCR but when dealing with CCR you sometimes have to delete the copy before you attempt to re-seed, the command would be as follows

Resume-StorageGroupCopy -Identity <Server\StorageGroup>

Yep have tried that, errors with 'Continuos replication is not configured .....
So when you disable lcr on that storage group you get an error, when you enable lcr you get an error also? Whats the full error and have you been using the shell or the GUI to make changes?
